Patchwerk Finishing School
Patchwerk Finishing School (PWFS) is an advanced, hands-on educational program based at Patchwerk Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, designed to help trained audio engineering students transition from academic learning into professional studio environments.
The program bridges the gap between classroom education and real-world industry experience through:

Strengthening technical skills in recording, mixing, signal flow, and studio operations.

Professional Studio Practices: Learning the workflows, standards, and expectations of a working recording studio.

Gaining insight into the business, relationships, and professional expectations of the music industry.

30-day advanced finishing program.
Two sessions per week, four hours per session.
Designed for students who have already completed an associate or bachelor's degree in audio engineering.
Limited enrollment to provide focused instruction and studio access.
The Purpose
Patchwerk Finishing School was created to help bridge the gap between having an audio engineering education and being prepared to work in a professional recording studio.
It is not an entry-level audio engineering program. It is an opportunity for students with an existing educational foundation to refine their skills, gain professional studio experience, and better understand what it takes to build a career in the recording industry.
